Celery Stamped Roses.
You will need:
The cut-off base of a stalk of celery
Paper
Red Paint
This little project is so great and frugal because your main tool is the bottom of a stalk of celery! You will also need some red paint. Chop off the bottom of your celery like in the picture above.
Dip the celery into the red paint, and then evenly press down on a sheet of paper. The result is a beautiful rose!
My 1, 3, and 5 year olds all loved this activity, though Aaron's were quickly smeared all over. You could do this with any color paint, and you can even draw or paint green stems and leaves onto the roses afterward.
